FAQ
Q: Who's going?
A: Students and teachers from Canyons School District.
Q: How big will the group be?
A: We already have 6 students committed to go and the more that sign up the more the price will drop. Sra. Young (Corner Canyon HS) will be the group leader, and Srta. Hawkins will go to accompany the group, including any Hillcrest HS students.
Q: Do I have to be in a Spanish class to go?
A: Nope! You just have to be a high school student committed to keeping the trip rules and promoting the goals of the group. This trip will be a great opportunity for language immersion, but will not have a sole language-study focus. Check out the info link above to see the agenda.
Q: I really want to go to Disneyland 2 spring breaks from now, why should I save for Costa Rica instead?
A: Zip-lining through the rain forest, relaxing in volcanic hot springs, white-water rafting, white-sand beaches, speaking Spanish, hanging with your friends and making new ones--perhaps even from another culture that speak another language! And if you still need more reasons, it looks great on a college application. So yeah.. a little more exciting than "It's a Small World". Plus, your Costa Rican tan will be way cooler than your buddy's Anaheim tan--and you will have had so much fun, that tan be the last thing worth bragging about.
Q: I really want this trip to be an option! Who do I talk to to get going?
A: Ms. Señorita Hawkins! Contact info for her and Charla Young (group leader) can be found in the flyer below.
